What We Stand For:

Guy Citron and Tyler Powell will :

Protect Open Space & Small-Town Character

  • Stop warehouse sprawl that threatens the charm and identity of our communities.
  • Build housing in the right places, not on farmland, forests, or highway shoulders.

Make Life Affordable

  • Back StayNJ & ANCHOR property-tax relief to ease the burden on homeowners, renters, and seniors.
  • Cut Costs, Not Quality: Pursue economies of scale and regionalization, moving services where they’re cheaper to run, to lower taxes while maintaining strong services.
  • Ban corporate bulk ownership of homes so families, not Wall Street, set prices in our neighborhoods.
  • Protect and strenghten Medicare, by asking the top 1% and large-cap corporations to do their part, so no one in LD-23 loses care
  • Stand Up to Washington gutting your benefits to reward billionaires with tax cuts.
  • Unleash Clean Power: Build more local, clean generation to create good jobs, strengthen our energy supply, and lower costs for families.

Create Energy Independence & Lower Bills

  • Local power, local control: build community-owned microgrids and allow municipal/coop utilities so outages drop and profits stay here.
  • Scale community solar on schools, rooftops, and lots, and remove caps that block towns from generating more and cutting bills.
  • Make data centers pay their way: no mega-load approvals without on-site clean generation, storage, peak-shaving, and local jobs agreements
  • Reduce Outages: Harden the grid, hold utilities accountable, and invest in resilient infrastructure so power stays on when storms hit.

Support Strong Schools, Not Culture Wars

  • Bring back trades & skilled pathways so graduates can step into good, local jobs that can’t be offshored or automated.
  • Support public schools with mental-health services, early/after-care, and fair pay; oppose censorship and book bans.

Build Modern, & Resilient Infrastructure

  • Expand Rail Access: Add service and connections so more towns have reliable, frequent, affordable trains.
  • Protect from Flooding: Strengthen defenses and smarter planning to keep homes, roads, and power safe when storms hit.
  • Connect Every Home: Bring high-speed internet to underserved areas so every town can work, learn, and grow.

Champion A Government That Works for Everyone

  • Upgrade Democracy: implement ranked-choice voting and same-day registration to give voters more voice and choice.
  • Forward-Party governance pledge: as Forward endorsed candidates, we’ve pledged to uphold the rule of law, use data-driven solutions, bottom-up problem-solving, conduct ourselves with ethics, integrity, and compassion and to put people and policy over party.
  • Transparency & accessibility so residents, not the well-connected, set the agenda in Trenton. We are committed to holding regular town halls to hear from those who matter most, you!
  • Term Limits: Enact reasonable term limits for legislators to prevent careerism and keep fresh, accountable leadership in Trenton.

Cut Red Tape for Small Businesses & Licensed Professionals

  • Licensing Deadlines that Stick: Set clear decision deadlines for business and professional licenses, with automatic fee refunds if the state misses, and speed approvals with better tech and reciprocity.
  • One-Stop, Not a Maze: Consolidate requirements in a BAC-run portal that provides plain-English, step-by-step checklists by industry and activity—not just links—so owners know exactly what to do.
  • Fair Access to Public Work: Simplify SBE/MBE/WBE certification and add a real-time application status tracker so under-represented firms can compete on equal footing.
